    1. Slick s review posted on Guilty Pleasures Book ReviewsReview copy provided for an honest review4.5 STARSSometimes a book just hits you and makes you think and Talking Dirty With The Boss is one of atruegemawardthose books Honestly, I expected it to be fun and flirty and even naughty and while there were elements of all of that in this book, it also made me take a step back and take a good long look at what I know and don t know about OCD Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and living with someone who [...]

    2. Luke has a little attitude and I really just want to give him an adjustment, oh, was that what is was With a quick movement, he put the phone away in his pocket, then twitched the cuffs of his jacket Do you want to dance or not I mean the man really can be rude at times, I don t want to sleep with you You re with Total Tech Which makes you an employee of mine And I don t sleep with employees, especially my junior ones He does know how to give a good dare though, I m going to give you an ultimatu [...]

    3. Because a person has a disorder doesn t mean that they are crazy, they are just different than others If a person truly loves them it will not matter if they have a disorder it s them as a person, the person they are in the inside that counts not their compulsion That is what true love is Marisa Clair has always wanted to be an artist like her father only that her mother played the guilt trip on her when her father passed away Marisa ended up in beauty pageants and also in the modeling world Now [...]

    4. Two and a half stars for making the heroine slightly tolerable by the end.Talking Dirty with the Boss sounded sexy and intriguing yet quickly spiraled into omfg territory because of a heroine with no sense of self respect, and a hero who uses his OCD as an excuse for every little aspect of his life Alpha Whaat No.This book is part of a series that I apparently overlooked because I didn t do my homework before I snagged it up thanks to its sexy, but deceiving cover It s book three in the Talking [...]

    5. ARC generously given by the publishers via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review More on my blog caseyreadstoo 201Okay so apparently I jumped two books and got straight to this one But I was never made aware of this series so what the hell, I ll just review this and be done with it.OCD is not something to mess around with I am a little OCD, especially when I do sketches or do any written work I get very uncomfortable looking at mistakes, especially visible ones and sometimes it will take me [...]

    6. This book had me laughing out loud in parts and sad in others The hero, Luke, is OCD He has it badly, a fact he does his best to hide from the world Marissa works for him She s out going, fun loving, and hates playing by the rules Something Luke insists on When he reprimands her for violating one, she decides he needs to loosen up a bit so she sends a sexually suggestive email to a co worker, knowing he won t take offense However, it goes to the big boss instead Marissa is flustered at first, su [...]

    7. Wow I absolutely loved this I picked it up on a whim and even though my kindle is FULL of unread books, there was something about this one that caught my eye I read it all in one sitting and I m so glad I decided to buy this one Sometimes these romance books can all feel the same, but I loved Luke and Marisa Their interactions were great and the chemistry was off the charts I really felt like there was something amazing, strong and sweet between them, and I loved that this wasn t instant love Th [...]

    8. 4 starsI loved Talking Dirty With The Boss Luke and Marisa are total opposites, they drive each other crazy Marisa would push all of Luke s buttons just to get a reaction from him, she had me laughing with some of the things she came out with Poor Luke, he s at a loss with trying to understand her and her way of thinking. This story made my heart ache, seeing Luke struggle with his OCD made me want to hold him and tell him all will be ok Marisa is dealing with her own insecurities and feels she s [...]

    9. Hahaha so damn cute Admittedly, I didn t like much either of the main characters at first They were both kind if annoying Then I started to like Marisa And a little later on in the story I started to like Luke too Well, not all the time though But he could be pretty sweet at times And kinda hot too I enjoyed A LOT their sex moments It seriously messed up with my hormones And got me turned on Their first time waswow Though kind of disappointing afterwards I wanted to kick Luke s ass I also found [...]

    10. Good Lord Is there no end to stupid heroines What does she supposes would happen if she keeps baiting her boss That he d give her a promotion Well, he does go hot and cold for her later but that s beyond the rationality of the topic Anyhow, she does improve later in the story which is why I m deducting only one star.Another thing I d like to add as someone with a mild case of OCD, I dislike abstract artworks So it felt a little odd that Luke would have no problem with it, I suppose it s differs [...]

    11. Luke is hot OCD or not, he is too sexy at times in the book Very steamy, romantic read I normally don t like it when the female character gets pregnant right away in the book but it worked here because it wasn t about the baby or the pregnancy It was a sweet, heart tugging story about a couple trying to make it work despite their fears I like it a lot The way it was written bugged me a little hence one less star but overall it gets 4 F %k me on the hood of the car Stars

    12. I loved all the books in this series but this was my favorite I didn t relate to the characters as well, but their emotions were so real that didn t matter I loved them and I rooted for them Severe OCD is an unusual character trait but it was so interesting to step away from the norm I m pretty sure I will read anything Jackie Ashenden writes.

    13. Meh Heroine is immature, hero s character is unbelievable Their banter is very bland and underdeveloped it felt like teenagers trying to flirt Their supposed instant chemistry left me totally unmoved. They have sex 1 3rd of the way through the book to take care of that attraction between them rolling my eyes but of course the condom breaks which results in a pregnancy. The whole ocd thing is annoying because it s unbelievable the heroine never notices it Seriously And then his ritual of checking t [...]

    14. Marisa Clair has always longed to be an artist, just like her father However her mother persuaded her that she had to use her looks while she still had them, pushing Marisa into modelling and beauty pageants Marisa was able to make a name for herself but it all fell apart when she found out that her boyfriend was actually married and had not only allowed Marisa to pay for everything so that his wife wouldn t find out but had also run up a lot of debt. Now Marisa is in a job that she doesn t reall [...]

    15. This is the third story in a trilogy of interrelated, but standalone, stories about three relationships That is, characters, scenes, and events from this story appear in the two other stories. As with the second story in this trilogy, Talking Dirty With the Player, this story opens at the wedding reception of Christie and Joe from Talking Dirty with the CEO This story features Marisa, a personal assistant at a magazine and Christie s best friend, and Luke, the billionaire who purchased the magazi [...]

    16. Rating 4.5 of 5 starsThis was another book that I stayed up late for It sucked me in so hard Talk about passion and angst So much of it was like a modern day, old skool Harlequin Presents rich, broody hero meets interoffice secretary, lots of unwanted lust, surprise pregnancy, a ton of passion and feelings But after that thin, upper veneer, it set itself apart in my forever love The heroine was not a virginal, innocent, docile flower She went after what she wanted and was confident enough to use [...]

    17. I received an ARC through NetGalley.Talking Dirty with the Boss ending up being quite the surprise Luke and Marisa meet at Joseph and Christie s wedding, and have a very awkward dance Not because Luke is Marisa s new uptight boss, but because of Luke s OCD He needs order, things need to go his way, be saw through to the end, and done perfectly or his world starts spiraling Marisa doesn t know this and just thinks he has a stick up his ass, so she can t help but tease him a little when she accide [...]

    18. I ve read all 3 in the series, and although book 1 is still my fav, I really liked this book The author has a quirky dirty sense of humor and I love it We ve been introduced to these characters previously so it was nice to get their full story One thing that I really did like about the way the author handled the series was that the stories were that books 2 and 3 were set at the same time What I mean by that is that things were mentioned like Caleb professing his love for Judith during the aucti [...]

    19. Posted on What I m ReadingYesterday, I finished Talking Dirty with the Boss by Jackie Ashenden All right I have been waiting sometime for this story, because I have enjoyed the other books I have to say that I did like the story Like Joseph, Luke McNamara has a bit of quirk He isn t your typical hero No, he suffers from OCD, but he doesn t want anyone to know that he suffers from it I guess when he was younger he was shamed into thinking it was bad So, he figure the best way is to hide it from e [...]

    20. I received a copy of this ARC book in exchange for an honest review This book starts out with Marisa and Luke at their mutual best friends wedding They are both part of the wedding party and the bride and groom insist that they dance together Luke asks Marisa to dance and she is reluctant to say yes, because Luke is the new CEO of the company she works for and known to be very uptight She has no interest, other than the fact that he is very handsome, he is known to never be with one woman longer [...]

    21. Oh man, this book easily made my favourites list Super sweet, vulnerably sexy H, super sweet, vulnerably sexy h, super sweet, sexy short read altogether I love how realistically Luke s OCD issues were portrayed and, just like in Book 1, how sensitively it was dealt with again, by showing there s no magic cure and that love won t fix everything but it takes daily hard work to deal with something that serious.I love how calm and considerate and quietly passionate Luke was, and how vulnerable and c [...]

    22. I have to say I have loved the Talking Dirty series the characters, their quirks, traits and personalities and their budding romances have made each endearing and realistic in their own way Talking Dirty with the Boss is a good addition to the series, but it was in a similar vain to the first book in that our hero has a behavioural disorder which once again is handled sensitively It could be read as a standalone as the previous characters aren t overly present and there no real evolving of their [...]

    23. Marisa Clair is trying to make her dreams happen Part of that is changing some of her ways No partying, no shopping, and absolutely no men to get her off track She needs to save up money, finish school, and then she can concentrate on achieving her dreams becoming a glass artist and having her own studio Work is becoming tedious A new company CEO has taken over, and continuously adds rules to the company requirements Marisa is stressed enough without the stuffy addendums added to the daily rou [...]

    25. 4,75 starsI wanted to read this book the moment I finished the previous one TALKING DIRTY WITH THE PLAYER and suspected who the main couple was going to be Unfortunately it wasn t out yet and due to circumstances I missed it when it did release Now that I ve finally managed to read it, I m so happy I did becausecit was everything I hoped and expected it would be I couldn t tear myself away from this book for long and read it in almost one sitting Although a few things were off Pill, Luke s seemi [...]

    26. This one has definitely been my favorite of the series I have to admit to loving the surprise pregnancy trope Although the series still doesn t have as much dirty talk as my gutter mind would like, it was still decently steamy.Jackie Ashenden has been doing a great job with presenting personality disorders and how they can affect relationships and daily life This third novel is no exception Luke has his every moment and action planned to the T Everything must be straight and orderly He can t fun [...]

    27. I m always a fan of some good sarcastic comebacks and wordplay The Talking Dirty series at least book two and three had delivered on this and then some The dialog is the highlight of these romances for me, and book three delivers in many ways I was cracking up about their email fiascos and watching the crazy and uninhibited Marisa tackle the OCD and orderly Luke was entertaining every step of the way I like how seriously the author took Luke s OCD he has a severe case and how disruptive it can [...]

    28. I really enjoyed the romance of this book between a very uptight hero and a heroine who is a bit outrageous and not use to being taken seriously. His OCD makes for an engaging conflict and I adored watching them fall in love I like romances set in New Zealand and this is a very sexy love story Car bonnet Grr It has a lot of trite troupes done well insta lust, unplanned pregnancy, no fraternization clause, and opposites attract that are weaved into the lens of OCD giving us something fresh, compel [...]
